Today, I am practicing "Queen is coming to visit" which really means: get off your butt and clean the house because Mom's coming for a visit. Instead, I have been puddled in Pinterest. Cleaning can come later!
Here's what else is going on, I have a new booth in an antique shop that I am getting ready to rent out. The name of the shop is Vintage and More. I am really going with the "and More" part of it and will be putting in some of my handmade goods. I have all of the merchandise for the shop on one side of the house. On the other side, I have all of the donations for a fundraiser. Now can you see why I'm not that eager to get the house ready.
A new day, it's done! Carpets cleaned and linens change - it's all good! Come on over mom.
I've decided to show make this blog about my vintage finds, hand made art as well as my repurposed pieces. I decided to sign up for the booth in the antique mall but didn't have any display ideas. I searched around the yard and found some goodies, an old beat up table that is being refinished, a camp fire grate, and the boards that were removed from that table. And how to display a large box of scarves? Obviously you can tell my budget was low. So far, I have spent more on paint than anything else and I am quite pleased!
